Warranty conditions

Please find below the warranty conditions applied by BESTWAY EUROPE S.p.A. with registered office in Via della Resistenza n. 5, San Giuliano Milanese (20098) - Milan, Italy (hereinafter "BESTWAY") to products sold within the European Economic Area under the BESTWAY brand.

  1. Statutory warranty

1.1 The legal warranty is granted by the European Directives 1999/44/EU and 2019/771/EU, which aim to protect the consumer, as defined below, in case the purchased goods ("Products") have conformity defects.

Depending on the date of purchase, the following regulations apply:

  • European Directive 1999/44/EU for all goods purchased by 31 December 2021
  • European Directive 2019/771/EU for all goods purchased on or after 1 January 2022.

1.2 According to the aforementioned European Directives, a consumer is any natural person who purchases a product for purposes unrelated to their business, trade, craft or profession (the "Consumer").

1.3 The statutory warranty period is 24 months from delivery of the goods to the consumer, unless otherwise stipulated in the legislation of the individual Member States of the European Union.

1.4 If the Consumer believes that he has purchased a product with a conformity defect, he must contact his retailer to claim the corresponding warranty.

1.5 BESTWAY will honour the warranty for any lack of conformity of the products for any consumer who has purchased the products directly from BESTWAY.

  1. BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty

2.1 Without prejudice to the warranties and remedies provided by law and without prejudice to the possibility for the consumer to make use of the statutory warranty mentioned above, BESTWAY offers an additional warranty ("BESTWAY Manufacturer's Warranty") for possible defects in conformity for a limited number of products.

2.2 The BESTWAY Manufacturer's Warranty applies only to purchases made by a consumer, i.e. any item purchased by an individual for purposes unrelated to his or her trade, business or profession. For example, if the consumer is associated with a company that uses our products for commercial purposes, the product will not be covered by the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty.

2.3 The manufacturer's warranty can be activated by the consumer of the product or by the retailer under the conditions listed below.

(a) List of product categories covered by the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty:

  • Pools & Pool Sets:
    • Fast Set™ pools from 183 x 51 cm
    • Steel Pro™ pools (excluding 56423, 5618T and Splash-in Shade pools)
    • all Steel Pro MAX™ pools
    • all Power Steel™ pools
    • all Hydrium™ pools
  • Whirlpools:
    • All LAY-Z-SPA® Whirlpools
  • Pool and whirlpool accessories
    • all Flowclear™ cartridge filter pumps (incl. Skimatic™)
    • all Flowclear™ sand filter systems
    • all Flowclear™ battery-powered pool robots
    • Flowclear™ Chlorinator™ chlorinator
    • Flowclear™ electric pool heater & heat pump
    • Swimfinity™ counter-current system
    • Ladders, ground sheets, covers and pool vacuum / pool vacuum sets if included in the pool set
  • All Hydro-Force™ SUP
  • All Flowclear™ solar showers
  • water parks purchased up to and including 2022 with blower from the H2OGO!®

(b) Duration of the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty

The manufacturer's warranty for all BESTWAY products mentioned above in paragraph 2.3 (a) is 24 months - unless otherwise provided for by the legislation of the respective Member State of the European Union - from the date stated on the receipt or tax document issued at the time of purchase.

In order to avoid forfeiting the rights granted by the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty, the suspected non-conformity of the BESTWAY product must be reported to BESTWAY within 2 months of its occurrence, as described in paragraph 2.3 (c) below.

(c) Activation and performance of the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty

To report a suspected lack of conformity of the product and activate the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty, the consumer or the dealer must contact the customer service centre indicated by BESTWAY in their country of residence.

The claim can be made:
- Via the online form


The notification must contain the following information:

  • Contact information of the consumer;
  • Date of purchase and copy of proof of purchase or tax receipt;
  • Item number;
  • Serial number
  • Description and/or pictures and/or video of the defect;
  • Pictures and/or video of the installation of the product;
  • Any other documentation required by BESTWAY to investigate the claim.



Once the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty has been activated, the consumer is obliged to provide BESTWAY with all of the above information. This information is crucial to ensure that BESTWAY can analyse and resolve the problem within a reasonable timeframe.

If one or more of the above conditions are not met, the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty will not apply; however, the consumer is advised that he may at any time invoke the statutory warranty described in paragraph 1 of this document.

If BESTWAY discovers a lack of conformity of the product rigid, BESTWAY will only replace the resulting defective spare parts and not the entire set. In such a case, no new manufacturer's warranty begins, neither for the replacement part nor for the entire set. The BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty is therefore in no way interrupted and/or suspended by the replacement of the defective parts and ends on its regular expiry date.

The exchange does not entail any additional costs for the consumer.

The retailer from whom the consumer purchased the product will not incur any additional costs as a result of the exchange, unless this is provided for in the terms and conditions, which the retailer must have read before activating the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty. Activation of the warranty by the retailer implies acceptance of all terms and conditions of the BESTWAY Terms and Conditions in their latest version.

(d) Limitations on the application of the BESTWAY Limited Warranty

The BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty applies exclusively to defects in conformity of BESTWAY products. It does not cover problems resulting from other causes, such as, but not limited to, those resulting from improper installation, improper use, improper or inadequate maintenance, improper operation, misuse of chemicals, improper power supply, neglect, or improper maintenance, neglect or improper use, handling and/or modification of BESTWAY products, the use of unsuitable and/or non-original accessories and/or spare parts, externally visible damage that was not objected to at the time of delivery, or damage due to the effects of the weather. The manufacturer's warranty also does not apply to defects that cannot be attributed to a production problem or to missing parts that are only reported after two months from the date of purchase.

Bestway products are not covered by the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty if they have been purchased second-hand and/or reconditioned. Furthermore, warranties are not transferable to third parties.

The BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty does not apply to products that have been opened and/or tampered with without the consent of BESTWAY (e.g., but not limited to, the opening of a pump).

The BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty does not cover economic losses due to water and chemical consumption costs.

The BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty does not cover property damage caused by incorrect installation and/or assembly of the product contrary to the instructions in the user manual, e.g. damage caused by flooding due to installation of the product on an uneven and/or unsuitable surface.

No claims for reimbursement can be made for interventions and/or replacements or for the product treated by the consumer or reseller outside the manner and under the conditions specified in the BESTWAY warranty.

Due to different safety and/or regulatory standards, which may vary from country to country, BESTWAY advises the consumer that the installation and/or use of BESTWAY products in a country other than the country in which the products were purchased may result in damage to persons and/or property and/or to the product itself (or individual parts thereof). Failure to comply with the requirements set forth herein may void the BESTWAY manufacturer's warranty.

(e) Effective Date

The BESTWAY warranty applies to all notifications received in accordance with paragraph 2.3 (c) in relation to BESTWAY products to which the specific European Directive provided for in Article 1.1 of this document applies.
